What's inside this curl cream

• Behentrimonium methosulfate + cetearyl alcohol — a plant-based conditioning emulsifier. Its positive charge lets it cling to the strand and lay the cuticle flat, and cetearyl alcohol is a fatty alcohol — the softening kind, not the drying kind.
• Grape seed oil — one of the lightest plant oils, high in linoleic acid, so it adds shine without weighing fine curls down.
• Argan + olive oils — oleic-rich oils that absorb into the strand to soften it.
• Vegetable glycerin — a humectant, meaning it draws water into the hair and helps hold it there.
• Burdock root, aloe + vitamin E — round it out; vitamin E protects the oils.

How to use

1. On wet or dry hair, warm a quarter-sized amount between your palms and smooth it through in sections. Don't rinse.
2. Wear it alone as a soft curl defining cream. Or layer it: Curl Enhancing Custard on top for a sleek wash-and-go, Twist Whip Butter on top for a twist-out.
3. Refresh on day two with a mist of Curl Hydration Spray.

What to expect

Soft, touchable definition — a moisturizing curl cream, not a cast. Frizz stays lowest when you apply to soaking-wet hair, so judge it once your hair is fully dry.
