Kokum Body Butter — Whipped Body Butter for Women, Dry Skin
Kokum Body Butter is a whipped body butter for dry skin: kokum butter, unrefined shea butter and coconut oil whipped into a water-based cream, so it melts in on contact and leaves skin soft without a greasy film. It's made for dry, tight skin — especially right after the shower.
What each ingredient does
-
Kokum butter — firm in the jar, soft at skin temperature, so it glides on and sinks in rather than smearing.
-
Unrefined shea butter — rich in fatty acids that soften rough patches and help slow water loss.
-
Glycerin — a humectant, meaning it draws water into the skin's surface layer.
-
Olive and coconut oils, aloe and vitamin E — soften and condition; lavender oil is part of the scent.
Because it's water-based, it feels whipped rather than waxy — and it's formulated at pH 4.5–5.5, close to the slightly acidic surface of healthy skin.
How to use it
- After a warm shower, pat skin until it's just damp.
- Warm a small scoop between your palms.
- Massage in circles until absorbed. Elbows, knees and heels can take a second layer.
Why damp skin? Glycerin grabs the water already on your skin, and the butters hold it there.
