Baby wash and scalp oil set for a dry, flaky scalp
For a newborn or baby with a dry or flaky scalp, the Cristina's Curls Nourishing Baby Wash Day Set is gentle care in two steps: one wash for hair and skin, then a few drops of oil massaged into the scalp.
Baby curls start at the scalp. In the first year a scalp can dry out and flake fast. The Baby Shampoo and Body Wash cleans hair and skin with shea butter and coconut, without stripping. The Hair and Scalp Oil nourishes the scalp with avocado and rice bran oil, and on flaky days a few drops before the bath soften flakes so they lift away in the wash. Together they're the oil-and-wash pair in Courtney's cradle cap routine.
The set works on waves, curls and coils, including biracial babies' hair. Two or three baths a week is plenty for most babies, with a few drops of oil on the days in between. Courtney Smith, a mom and licensed esthetician, made the line for her own daughter, Cristina, and more than 70,000 families now use it. Two bottles cover the whole bath.
