Honey Blonde - Organic Hair Color
Honey Blonde
Colour Me Organic Premium
Certified Organic Hair Colour Powder · 3.5oz
A warm golden blonde from five organic herbs — the shortest list we make. No peroxide, no ammonia, no PPD.
Hair darker than Honey Blonde will not take it. We have tested it. Plant colour adds and never lifts, so the melanin you already have stays underneath — and dark melanin wins against a warm gold. This shade is for blonde, light brown, highlighted or greying hair.

What "100% organic" means here
Not 99%, not 99.9% — every herb in the pouch is certified organic, and there is no base powder or carrier underneath them. Each shade is vacuum-sealed to slow oxidation before you open it, and shipped by air from our production facility in India so newer stock reaches you.
A Warm, Sun-Kissed Glow from Pure Herbs
Honey Blonde creates a soft, golden tone with a naturally warm finish. Inspired by the richness of golden honey, this shade adds gentle warmth and dimension to lighter hair.
Because plant pigment layers over the colour you already have instead of replacing it, your own variation stays underneath. Under natural light the gold comes forward — the same hair, more of it visible — which is why the result reads as sun-kissed rather than applied.
This shade is for those who want a warm blonde rather than a cool or ashy one. It settles warm and stays warm — that is the shade working as intended, not a result that drifted.
How it differs from chemical colour
Going blonde with a bottle means the most lifting of any shade — peroxide dissolving the melanin, and breaking the sulphur bonds that hold the fibre together along the way. That is why lightened hair runs dry and porous, and hair is dead tissue: it cannot rebuild what the lift took.
This one doesn't lift anything. Henna bonds golden warmth to a base that was already light, so the cuticle stays shut and there is nothing to repair afterwards. That's the whole trade: it costs you the option of going lighter, and saves you everything that comes with it.
- Powder-based organic colour for men and women
- Certified organic by ECOCERT
- No peroxide, ammonia, PPD, parabens or synthetic pigment
-
Works on light, lightened or greying hair only — it will not show on hair darker than this shade
- Colours grey readily; on darker hair that reads as highlights rather than coverage
- At-home application, no developer to mix
- Not suitable for anyone with a known indigo or plant-dye allergy — patch test first
What to expect
-
Right after rinsing — a faint green cast over the warmth. That's the indigo before it has met the air. Temporary.
-
First 12 to 24 hours — the green clears and it goes bright, more yellow-orange than the finished shade.
-
Around day two — settles into warm honey. Judge your colour here, not on the first evening.
Do not blow-dry. Not while the paste is on, and not for the first 24 hours after rinsing. Dry the paste and nothing transfers; dry the hair afterwards and the colour stalls at a violet-purple partway point. On a pale base there is no depth to hide that in. Shower cap while it processes, air-dry after.

There is no version of these photos on darker hair — not because we left it out, but because we tested it and the result doesn't show. Within light hair, depth still shifts with how pale your base is, grey percentage, porosity and how long you leave it on.

A blonde depends more on its starting base than any other shade, and that is the hardest thing to judge from a photograph. First-time customers who don't get the result they expected can have a different shade sent free, or a full refund on the colour. How the assurance works →
