Curl Enhancing Defining Cream

$27.00

Defining cream for curls that frizz and won't hold. Ages 3 and up.

  • Defined curls that move: Light hold that dries soft and touchable, with no crunch.
  • Shine and slip: Coconut oil helps the cream glide through, so curls dry glossy.
  • Pairs with Curly Custard: Layer the custard on top when curls need to hold longer.
  • Made by a mom, for her daughter: Courtney, a licensed esthetician, made it for Cristina. Every ingredient listed.

Who it's for

For kids 3 and up with waves, curls or coils that frizz or lose their shape as they dry.

How to use

  1. Section: Start on soaking-wet hair, right after conditioner, before you towel off.
  2. Define: Smooth a quarter-size amount through each section, then rake or scrunch. Leave it in.
  3. Dry: Air-dry or diffuse, and keep hands off until curls are fully dry.

Tip: The wetter the hair, the better the definition. Apply the cream before you towel off.

Curl defining cream for kids

For a kid 3 and up whose curls frizz or lose their shape as they dry, the Cristina's Curls Curl Enhancing Defining Cream is defining care for the styling step: a light-hold cream that goes on soaking-wet hair right after conditioner.

Curl definition is set while the hair is wet. The Defining Cream is a rich, opaque satin cream made with coconut oil and aloe, with emu oil for added moisture. Smoothed through soaking-wet sections and scrunched, it gives defined curls light hold and shine, and it dries soft and touchable with no crunch. Use about a quarter-size amount per section, rake or scrunch it through, then leave curls alone until they're dry; touching them while they dry is what brings the frizz back.

Waves usually need less and tight coils a little more per section, so adjust as you go. Use it alone for everyday definition, or glaze the Curly Custard on top when curls need longer hold. It's made for waves, curls and coils, from 2C waves to 4C coils, including biracial kids' hair. Made by Courtney Smith, a mom and licensed esthetician, and used by more than 70,000 families.
